I'm on disability for a severe chronic venous insufficiency after 2019 it just got the best of me in Arkansas you have to make three times the amount of money to even rent an apartment so I just reached out and got a part-time job I hadn't worked in 5 years now all the stuff that was going on with my legs is coming all back again I'm getting rash all around and I've looked at the stages of chronic venous insufficiency. And I was told a couple years ago by my primary doctor that I had carpal tunnel what I'm doing part-time involves me using my right hand constantly this video is just got me in a whirlwind because that's all I do with my hand is I put clothes on hangers and hang up clothes on hangers and hang on my not primary doctor just retired about 6 months ago does anyone know what type of gas or I would go to to see for my thumb and my hand is it is a severe pain especially when I'm having to use it

I want to know if i can judge or anticipate my shoulder recovery, (even in a 'semi realistic'), basis. Would i be relatively prepared for what to expect for shoulder recovery, based on 🦴 my hip experience? M. IL. USA

So I throw in heat just like I was recommended and swelling goes away about 2 days. But I’m not sure how long I can keep this up for.. I don’t want to stop playing soccer but I’m just not sure what else to do…

@KatieKemna, I had the same experience during my pregnancy. My FIL was a neuroradiologist and told me it was most likely carpal tunnel, due to my swelling from pregnancy exacerbating the condition. After delivery, it disappeared for awhile. 19 years later, I’m scheduled for open carpal release:( Sleeping on my side, dropping my arm down from side of bed, was the only thing that gave me relief while sleeping.

I've been Injured since February with a tear. I see physio and nothing has worked I can do shoulder press with light weight but soon as I pick up 2kg dumbell and do lateral raises the pain gets worse. 😢 I tried doing dumbell rotation exercises as physio suggested external rotation was fine but internal rotation causes pain and grinding of my shoulder when rotating my arm from 90 degree angle downwards :/. Um so frustrated! I've had tricep tendonitis on the same side that seems to he healing but shoulder hasn't responded too rest or strength building what should I do? If you could give some advice be greatful

@juliannewman8720 I had lower trapezius strain and I continued too train as normal without back day. So my guess is shoulders going forward. Lower traps injured so the left side wouldn't of been firing correctly causing my shouder blade to not function in the correct pattern. :/. Also I have tricep tendonitis 🤣 so more strain on the shoulder. So yup I'm complete dickhead. So answer too your question is probably either shoulder press or bench press. I was doing seated shoulder press with barbell with 60kg for like 10 reps too failure twice a week. But they was no warning sign when performing exercise just pain next day

I just reached the 6 week post operative milestone. Sling is just now gone. I'm still waiting for the I'm glad I had this done moment , which doesn't surprise me. This has been a rough surgery to recover from. 6 weeks post and still having to ice several times per day. Some bruising still around elbow and sternum. My advice to anyone undergoing this surgery is to obtain a power recliner to sleep in. Also keep your expectations realistic. I've done a ton of presurgery research and knew what I was up against. From that research, I've concluded that a realistic recovery time is around 6 months.

You can’t eat, dress, go to the bathroom, sleep, cook or iron clothes. It may not sound very high powered, but help to know what to buy before the op would be helpful. Pillows, elastic everything and an in-house helper for months.

Moving thumb up and down does not hurt but if I am in karate chop position and move thumb to right I have pain. Still hurts with pinching motion. Doc did a cortisone injection and helped somewhat. A few months later shot near my surgery site where bone was removed. That helped the most, but now 5 months later pain is back. I can feel 2 big bumps in the area you show. Is this still trigger finger?

I had an EMG on my legs and was told that it would be minor pain and no after effects. LIARS!!! It was HORRIBLY painful during the procedure and I have lingering pain and nerve fluttering (they said the test was normal, so this is not the response of neural disfunction). Had they been honest with me about the potential pain and after effects, I NEVER would have gone thru with it!!!

Super awesome video. I’m in so much pain on my left hand thumb 👍 it has resisten to my thumb and it pops two times to close or open it. I went to the hand specialist know the problem he says is the tube that the tendon goes through and ligaments are catching in the tube . He put me a cortisone shot but nothing I went to see him 8 times already he said wait two months and I will put another cortisone shot. I pay $140 bucks every time I go to see him and I do have health insurance anyways I had been looking on line more information to find the solution. I do have a tiny broken ship bone in my thumb but he doesn’t is affecting at all . He told me maybe they have to remove the little tube that the ligaments goes through. I’m a handyman but now I’m a handicapped not a handyman I only can grab things strong with my right hand. I’m thinking of switching doctor because this one doesn’t do literally anything besides charging the shit a my insurance and me . Don’t care about the money I’m tire of being getting hurt everytime I hit my thumb or touch anything

Does it have to be so bad that the finger is locked or is that not a required symptom? I got a hit on my hand a month ago and everything fits in this description of what it happening but my finger isn't so badly catchign that i cant stretch it. The hit i experienced was on the top of the knuckle too, which is where there is a bump on the side where the tendon is... When i try to bend, the 'triggering' happens where my fingers starts to catch and tremble... Or is this not triggerfinger?! I dont see a specialist until next month due to them having no openings..

I was diagnosed with DeQuervain's in 2014 - both wrists. For the most part, bracing helps. I try to avoid a steroid shot, but have had flareups so bad I needed one. I had surgery on my right wrist in 2019 to open the sheath allowing the tendons to move better. This doesn't stop them from becoming inflamed, but it is less painful when they do. Eventually, I'll likely need surgery on my left wrist. My orthopedic doctor attributes mine to the years of keyboarding I've done at my jobs. Which is ironic, because I absolutely love typing. And yet, it causes me issues! Thank you for a great video.
